Crunchy Madeleines & Pumpkin Squares

Ingredients
  • 1 bag of Madeleines Originales from La Petite Bretonne
  • 1 can pumpkin puree (475 ml)
  • 1 can of evaporated milk (350 ml)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 ½ cups of sugar
  • 4 t. pumpkin pie spices
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup of melted butter

Preparation
  • Preheat the oven to 350 ° F. Grease a cake pan 13 x 9 x 2 inches.
  • In a bowl, combine pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, pumpkin pie spices and a pinch of salt. Mix until the mixture is homogeneous.
  • Pour into the greased pan and add crumbled Madeleines with your hands. Add chopped pecans and melted butter evenly over the entire surface of the cake.
  • Bake at 350 ° F for about 50 to 55 minutes. Let cool and serve.
